1. Who We Are
MyHandwriting.org is a browser-based handwriting document generation service. Contact: support@myhandwriting.org
2. What Data We Collect
- Account data: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We use your Google user ID (not your email) as your unique identifier.
- Usage data: We count document generations and exports to enforce free-tier limits. This is stored server-side in our database.
- Payment data: Payments are processed by PayPal. We receive order status, amount, and your PayPal payer ID. We do not store credit card numbers or bank details.
- Analytics: We use Ahrefs Analytics, Plausible (privacy-friendly), and Microsoft Clarity for anonymous usage analytics. These may set cookies or use browser fingerprinting for aggregate statistics.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To authenticate you via Google OAuth
- To track your free-tier usage and Pro entitlements
- To process payments and maintain your purchase history via PayPal
- To improve the product through anonymous analytics
4. Handwriting Clone (Coming Soon)
When the AI Handwriting Clone feature launches, you will be able to upload handwriting samples for processing. At that time:
- Samples will be stored in private object storage with short-lived signed URLs (not on public CDN).
- Raw samples will be automatically deleted within 24 hours of processing unless you opt to retain them.
- You can delete your samples, clone profiles, and generated artifacts at any time.
- We will update this policy before launching the clone feature.
5. What We Do NOT Do
- We do NOT sell your personal data to third parties.
- We do NOT store your generated documents on our servers — documents are rendered in your browser and downloaded by you.
- We do NOT log raw images, signed URLs, or full document text in server logs.
6. Data Retention
- Account data: while your account exists
- Payment records: as required by law and for dispute resolution
- Generated documents: not stored — rendered in-browser only
- Usage records: retained for account lifetime to enforce limits
7. Your Rights
You can access, correct, or delete your data. You can delete your account data by contacting us. You can also request a copy of all data we hold about you. Contact: support@myhandwriting.org
8. Cookies
We use a session cookie (HttpOnly, Secure) to keep you logged in. Analytics cookies are set by Ahrefs, Plausible, and Microsoft Clarity. See our Cookie Policy for details.
9. Children's Privacy
Our service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
